Today as well as yesterday was not very eventful. We made good progress on easy roads mixed up every now and then with a tinier trail. We ran out of porridge in the morning and after driving for 130 km at noon already, decided to take a longer lunch break in the middle of an intersection. For the full 1.5 h we stayed not a single car passed by us. Driving was not very eventful, blasting in-between wood sections high speed on dry ground streets. Benni prepared Farfalle in broth with added garlic. After lunch we had some chocolate for dessert. General mood was good and pretty funny, we were cracking jokes and laughing dumbly.

When breaking up Benni accidentally dropped his bike while unparking and got his foot stuck in the handlebar. Later on we had a break after going shopping and enjoyed some ice-cream as we figured out that one whole cup of Ben & Jerrys was as expensive as two Magnum’s. After that break we drove in the same manner for another 200 ish kilometers when I needed to get some gas. In the next town we filled up our tanks and were tempted by the local burger joint. Burgers were large and not too expensive. Still we were not as satisfied as we imagined. We looked up a shelter to attend for tonight and drove there. The minute before us some younger fishermen arrived and were walking down the path to the shelter (which is a prime fishing spot I imagine). But no worries we found a good spot a couple hundred meters backtracking. It was not too lade this evening and we tried to fix Niklas twisted fog light mount using the back of the axe as hammer. It worked fairly well and we were more or less happy with the result. We were able to attach the light using one scew and a cable tie. The camping spot was nice, as there were benches around a fireplace and toilets.
